For those who enjoy doing activities with Xplore, you could end up with an accredited achievement.

We can link you in with one of these award schemes:

  • Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
  • Youth Achievement Award
  • Natural Connections

Each award involves a number of activities carried out over a set time period or for a number of hours.

  • Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
    3 levels: Bronze silver and Gold; 4 categories: Skills, Physical Recreation, Service in the Community and Expedition (extra for Gold only – Residential Project)

Duke of Edinburgh Award
  • Youth Achievement Awards
    4 levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum; 4-7 challenges depending on the level

Youth Achievement Awards
  • Natural Connections
    6 elements, each with different outdoor activities, such as walking, canoeing, pond dipping, team games, map skills, wildlife surveying, producing a scrap book
Natural Connections
  • A dedicated worker supports young people through activities; helping them to set their goals, plan their programme and review progress
  • Participation is voluntary and non-competitive
  • Each young person progresses at their own pace
