1:1 Work

Once we start working with a young person we will enter  into an agreement with them stating what we can offer and what we can offer and what is expected of them in return. This will be reviewed  on a regular basis. We  will support the young person trough this agreement.

  When a young person is  referred to Xplore  they will be appointed  a Youth worker to work with  them on an individual basis .
  He /She will arrange a visit  to find out what support is needed and explain what  Xplore  could offer.
  There will be a 4 week assessment period  to see if Xplore is able  to offer the service that young people need.
  The worker will meet  regularly  to provide support and  help set and review  goals with the young person .
  The maximum time  we can work with a young person is 12 months.
  If  the Youth Worker   thinks that the young person may benefit from  group work they will be referred  by the  worker. Young People must be engaging  with their  Youth Worker  before they will be considered for group work.
  Young  people  will be treated  with respect and we will respect  the young persons  right to a confidential service.
